THE INDUS ENTREPRENEURS (TiE) (“TiE” or “we” or “us” or “our”) is concerned about your privacy. PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY BEFORE USING TiE’s online platform for the 10th TiE Global Summit (“PLATFORM” / “Platform”).

BY USING THE PLATFORM OR SUBMITTING INFORMATION ON THE PLATFORM, YOU (“You” or “you” or “yourself” or “User”) AGREE THAT YOU ARE OF THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OR ABOVE AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING AND USE OF THE INFORMATION ACCORDING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

Your access to and use of the Platform is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to everyone, including, but not limited to, visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy, then you do not have our permission to access or use the Platform.

Sensitive Personal Data or Information

“Sensitive Personal Data or Information” shall mean such Personal Information which consists of information relating to:

Password;
Financial information such as bank account, credit/debit card or other payment instrument details;
Physical, physiological and mental health conditions;
Sexual orientation;
Medical records and history;
Biometric information;
Any detail relating to the above clauses as provided to a body corporate for providing services; and
Any of the information received under the above clauses by a body corporate for processing, storing, or processing under a lawful contract or otherwise.

Provided that any information that is freely available or accessible in the public domain or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law for the time being in force shall not be regarded as Sensitive Personal Data or Information.

By registering and nominating on our Platform, you specifically consent to the use and transmission/transfer/sharing of your Sensitive Personal Data or Information to TiE.

Subject to the foregoing, your Sensitive Personal Data or Information shall be held by us in strict confidence and as per the provisions of Applicable Law. Except as stated herein, we will not disclose any of your Sensitive Personal Data or Information to any other person without your express prior consent.

When you register with the PLATFORM as a User, TiE will ask you for Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Data or Information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you, including:

Full name
E-mail address
Mobile/telephone number
Birth date
Address/location
Gender
Occupation
Industry
Any other information capable of identifying you

We use your Personal Information and/or Sensitive Personal Data or Information for registration purposes on the Platform and to provide services as per the Terms and Conditions (available at www.tieglobalsummit.org) and to administer your inquiries.

TiE also collects non-identifiable information such as zip code, event preferences, and other details necessary for registration and service improvement.

We may combine your Personal Information with non-identifiable information to provide a better experience, improve the Platform, and analyse usage patterns.

TiE may contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions provided in those communications.

Governing Laws and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and the Courts of Jaipur, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy.
